What areas are up and coming in Turks and Caicos

1. North West Point

Having just designed a new resort, there is certainly movement on the remaining beachfront parcels. It’s a bit out of the way, but there is growth, perhaps not for private villas,  but for other resorts-certainly.

2. Venetian road

It's been on the uptick for a while since the road was paved around 6 years ago. There is a still an undeveloped marina, Bobs Bar and Wymaras presence gives a valuable tourist interest in the area, there a few scattered hidden beaches which are really charming. The road is one of the most exclusive in Providenciales after Leeward containing mega-villas with stunning views.

There is still a lot of oceanfront undeveloped land for sale, which will surely be snapped up over the coming years. I could see another restaurant or bar opening down there in the future. Sean O’Neill and Ian Hurdle from the Agency have a lot of listings down this end.

3. The Golf Course

HAB group who own the facility have plans in the works for beautifying the golf course with the main entrance already well under way. They own parcels of land on the interior of the course which they plan to develop into a mixture of longer term accommodations. There is also a 2 acre parcel on the road side which they plan to build a hotel to complement the golf course further.

I suspect there will be further facilities added to the interior of the course such as tennis courts or small interior studios.

4. Turtle cove

With the Loren hotel and the Hyatt not far away, this area is slated for growth. There are long term plans for restaurants around the marina edge. It isn’t quite a walking neighbourhood yet, but if the pavements and drainage are upgraded, it would certainly be a new walkable neighbourhood in Providenciales.

5. Long bay

With much land still available in long bay, non-beachfront land hasn't skyrocketed, but the Southbank marina development has certainly stimulated and attracted, particularly to lots nearest the development. Mike Fox from Keller Williams is particularly active in this area.
