Midtown Square

Architecture

In a highly noticeable area along the highway, Dune was commissioned to design a new commercial square to become a destination for shopping, eating and spending time. Along with a number of upgrades proposed to the existing property, Dune designed a 20,000 square foot retail, restaurant and office building. Introducing glu-lam timber to act as visual interest on the facade and combining playful lighting with landscape, the building will redefine a highway devoid of Architecture.  Big picture windows on the highway side allow passive engagement with motorists.

From the very start of the project, Dune has been involved creating a new name, new face and new area for Turks and Caicos which will see a big increase in customer traffic for our client.
